Will laughed. Being banished to the ends of the world was certainly not something he;d ever wish upon himself. "No, that I did in fact by down at the corner. I didn't have enough time to make it myself, this really was a last minute throw things together kind of thing." He explained. "That's great!" He exclaimed with a bright smile. He was very happy for her, and knew she would do very well. "I'm sure you'll get promoted. I mean, come on, who could be better at the job then you?" It was, of course, a rhetorical question. He didn't think there were many people, if any, around that could do anything even close to what Liz could. "And, even if the money isn't all that great, it's fine. With our combined efforts, there's really nothing to worry about anyway." He grinned.

"Hmm. I thought so- it tastes like it was from there. And even if it was last minute, it was very thoughtful of you," Liz leaned over to give him a light kiss, then settling back agrinning broadly. "I do hope so. Maybe I'll get enough money to open my own place sooner than I thought I would. That would be miraculous." She paused a moment and took another bite. "Combined?"

"Well thank you." Will replied, enjoying the brief kiss. He took a few pieces of fruit from bowl as she continued talking, washing them down with a gulp of lemonade. "Yes, that would be amazing. Then you can be your own boss. And hire people to boss around if you like." He joked. "And, what meant by combined is," he paused, taking a bite out of his sandwich. It was a slight effort to stall and think for a moment. However, it was natural enough that it'd be hard to pick up on as a diversion. Perhaps he had chosen a few different words for that sentence. Sometimes he spoke faster then he thought. But it didn't happen that often thankfully. "Is that we wouldn't have to depend on one person for money. Since we both have our jobs. Well, mine's not a set job, but I get them often enough." Yes. that was it. Their relationship was at a level that that would at least make sense. And, he still didn't end up spoiling anything. Phew.

She smirked. "Right. I could tell them to go jump off a cliff and they probably would, if I paid them. And that does make sense," she admitted.
((Gosh. Lame, lame, lame....Noelan took all my muse. I was inspired.))

((Don't worry about it. Mine's not much better... ^^; ) "Of course. But then you'd have to go through the hassle of hiring all new employees. I wouldn't want to see you so stressed." Will smiled, a bit relieved that he had thought of something so quickly. Maybe he was getting good at thinking on his feet. Definitely not a bad thing to have a trait. Unless of course you used it in a bad way, which he certainly wouldn't do. He just had to wait a little longer... Just until they finished lunch and could go get dessert...
